Vegetables are essential part of the diet in Turkish cuisine and salads always present in the table. The quality of the raw material makes them exquisite.
One of the most popular and traditional is the çoban salad, a light and refreshing salad. When you prepare your scent will draw attention, that quickly invite probarla.
Ingredients: ( 4 or 5 people)
– 1 large onion.
– 1 cucumber.
– 3 tomatoes.
– 2 or 3 elongated green peppers (Italian pepper)
– Lemon and salt.
– Olive oil virgen.
– 1 spoonful of sweet vinegar.
Cut the onion into thin slices and add salt.
Wash and chop the tomatoes.
Chop a few sprigs of parsley and add to the salad.
For dressing mix the juice of one lemon, some sweet vinegar ( Turkey used vinegar grenade), virgin olive oil and salt.
